New Delhi:  The capital and the third largest city of India is a fusion of the ancient and the modern era. Standing along the west End of Gangetic Plain, the capital city, Delhi unwinds with culture, architecture and human diversity, deep in history, monuments, museums, galleries, gardens and exotic shows. Comprising of two contrasting yet harmonious parts, the Old Delhi and New Delhi, the city is a travel hub of Northern India.

Delhi is a palimpsest, bearing the complexities, the contradictions, the beauty and the dynamism of a city where the past coexists with the present. Many dynasties ruled from here and the city is rich in the architecture of its monuments. Diverse cultural elements absorbed into the daily life of the city, have enriched its character.

After breakfast proceed for full day city tour of old & New Delhi. You will make a visit to Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Raj  Ghat, Lotus Temple, Laxmi Narayan  temple, Qutub Minar, Himayun Tomb. Drive past President house, India Gate and Connaught place shopping centre. Return to the hotel after sightseeing tour for overnight stay.

In the morning after breakfast leave (03 hrs) for Neemrana, arrive & check-in to hotel.

Neemrana: Neemrana is an ancient town with unmatched scenic beauty. At this place you will come across the 14th century hill fort that was ruled by the Chauhans. You will get a feel of the past glory and grandeur since it was a place under the rule of the royal figures.
It was a tributary (chieftainship) of the former Alwar State. The region is sandy and bleak and is known as Raath. The place is said to be the home of chauhan Rajputs claiming descent from Prithvi Raj the last Hindu emperor. It is reputed to have been built by the Yaduvanshis, descendants of Lord Krishna, who converted to Islam in the mid-14th century to be called Khanzadas. It subsequently changed hands, being conquered by the Mughals and the Jats before reverting to the Rajputs in 1775 when the princely state of Alwar was founded.

Later in this day you will visti Neemrana Fort, the major landmark of this town.  The Neemrana Fort, was built by Maharaja Devi Singhji and this particular place has derived its name from the gallant local chieftain Nimola Meo. There is an interesting incident behind the name of the fort. While fighting with the Chauhans he was overthrown and he made a humble plea for naming his lost kingdom after his name. This fort is an architectural marvel of Rajasthan and one of the oldest too.

Overnight at hotel.

Jaipur:  The city that once had been the capital of the royalty, now serves as the capital city of Rajasthan. The very structure of Jaipur resembles the taste of the Rajputs and the Royal family. In the present date, Jaipur is the major business centre for the natives of Rajasthan with all requisites of a metropolitan city. The city of Jaipur, painted in pink, grasp the appreciation of every visitor. One can see that hoary charm still alive in the avenues of Jaipur. Jaipur is the reservoir of Indian customs, traditions, civilization and legacy.

Once on top, stroll through the sprawling complex of courtyards and halls.

Then you will be driven to Roopangarh (2 & ½ hrs approx drive), upon arrival check-in to the hotel.

In the evening visit Roopangarh fort, a former fortress that is today a hotel. The fort was built in 1648by Maharaja Roop Singh of Kishangarh and named after him. In 1999, the fort was opened as a hotel leaving the interior and exterior little changed from its time as a palace.

Overnight stay.

Afternoon proceed to visit Kumbhalgarh fort.

Kumbhalgarh: Kumbhalgarh is the second most important citadel after Chittaurgarh in the Mewar region. Cradled in the Aravali Ranges the fort was built in the 15th century AD by Rana Kumbha. The inaccessibility and hostility of the topography lends a semblance of invincibility to the fort. It served the rulers of Mewar as a refuge in times of strife. The fort also served as refuge to the baby king Udai of Mewar. It is of immense sentimental significance for the people being the birthplace of Mewar's legendary king, Maharana Pratap.

Overnight at hotel.

In the morning you will be driven (04 hrs approx) to Luni & check-in to hotel.

Luni: The village nestles in the shadow of the fort Chanwa walls.  At night all is quiet in  Luni village and the fort, with its huge gates  and protective walls stands proud and  strong  under  the spectacular canopy of stars. Peace spreads out across the desert past the nearby Luni river bed.

Evening visit fort Chanwa Luni, now a heritage hotel is an exceptional example of Elegance and Symmetry in Indian architecture of the last century. The entire fortress is carved out of the famous red sandstone of Jodhpur and with its ornamentally carved lattice work friezes and intricate Jherokas, it exquisitely captures the romance and grace of a bygone age.  Overnight at hotel.

After breakfast leave (03 hrs approx drive) for Khimsar, upon arrival check-in to hotel.

Khimsar: Khimsar is one of the most interesting sites you can ever visit in Rajasthan. The Khimsar village is also an excellent starting point for anyone interested in exploring the Nagaur region. Khimsar has always been a bone of contention between the royals of Jodhpur and the Thakurs of Khimsar. According to the Thakurs, Khimsar was always an independent entity. However, the Jodhpur royals beg to differ on the issue

In the afternoon visit Khimsar fort, perched on the edge of the vast Thar Desert of Rajasthan and is the most important attraction of this rustic hamlet. It was constructed by the 8th son of Rao Jodha of Jodhpur in 1523 by Rao Karamsji. At that point of time, it was basically a military structure, full of turrets, fort walls and stables. A Zenana or ladies residence was constructed in the mid-18th century after which the royal family moved to the fort. The fort was subsequently converted into a hotel that is often rated as one of the best heritage hotels in India.
